Dyslipidemia is one of the popular issues in developed countries and an increasing trend in developing countries. It is a major risk factor for cardiovascular disease, hypertension and diabetes. Polyherbal formulations have been used to treat dyslipidemia for many years. This study was designed to evaluate the effects of SAGYDI (SAD) on endogenous dyslipidemia experimental animal model.

Both genetic and environmental factors contribute to type 2 diabetes development. We used consomic mice established from an animal type 2 diabetes model to identify susceptibility genes that contribute to type 2 diabetes development under specific environments.

Epigenetic modifications, including DNA methylation, play an important role in gene silencing and genome stability. Consequently, epigenetic dysregulation can cause several diseases, such as cancer, obesity, diabetes, autism, and imprinting disorders.

Intervertebral disc degeneration in mice with type II diabetes induced by leptin receptor deficiency
The leptin receptor-deficient knockout (db/db) mouse is a well-established model for studying type II diabetes mellitus (T2DM). T2DM is an important risk factor of intervertebral disc degeneration (IVDD). Although the relationship between type I diabetes and IVDD has been reported by many studies, few studies have reported the effects of T2DM on IVDD in db/db mice model.

Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a metabolic disorder of multiple etiologies characterized by absolute or relative deficiency of insulin secretion with or without varying degree of insulin resistance. Sedentary life style and obesity are two major epidemiological determinants of diabetes mellitus. In the present investigation hypoglycemic efficacy of methanol extract of Catharanthus roseus (Nayantara) of Apocyanaceae and Opuntia ficusindica of Cactaceae was tested on STZ induced mice diabetic models.

Several new models have been implemented: evaluate the effect inhbitivity on hyperglycemic postprandial blood glucose of reagent in glucose/sucrose/starch tolerance test in normal and diabetic mice and the effect antagonism with insulin resistance in type 2 diabetic mice (the technique of "Hyperinsulinemic - euglycemic clamp test")

Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a chronic disease found worldwide. Notably, BKS.Cg- Dock7m +/+ Leprdb/JNarl mice are useful animal models for studying type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). In this study, we investigated casein kinase 2 alpha 1 (CSNK2A1) gene and protein expression in the liver tissues of mice at different ages (4, 16, and 32 weeks) using real-time quantitative polymerase chain reactions, western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.

To investigate the hypoglycemic action of CF2 in a type 2-like diabetic mice model induced by high fat diet (HFD) combined with streptozotocin (STZ) injection. Method: Model: mice were fed with HFD for 8 weeks, then injected with a dose of STZ (100 mg/kg body weight, intraperitoneal injection). Animal used: Swiss male mice. Drugs: type 2-like diabetic mice with HFD and STZ treated with either gliclazide 80 mg/kg body weight.
