At present, hepatectomy is still the most common and efective treatment method for intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (ICC) patients. However, the postoperative prognosis is poor. Therefore, the prognostic factors for these patients require further exploration. Whether microvascular invasion (MVI) plays a crucial role in the prognosis of ICC patients is still unclear.

The microvessels area (MVA), derived from microvascular proliferation, is a biomarker useful for highgrade glioma classifcation. Nevertheless, its measurement is costly, labor-intense, and invasive. Finding radiologic cor‑ relations with MVA could provide a complementary non-invasive approach without an extra cost and labor intensity and from the first stage.

IbeA of Escherichia coliK1 was cloned, expressed and purified as a His6-tag fusion protein. The purified fusion protein inhibited E. coliK1 invasion of human brain microvascular endothelial cells and was heat-modifiable. The structural and functional aspects, along with equilibrium unfolding of IbeA, were studied in solution.
