In this work, the influences of boric acid and high alumina cement used as modifying additives on the formation of CaO∙Al2O3 and CaO∙2Al2O3 were studied. Herein, commercially available chalk of the M-90 label and technical alumina of the G-0 label were utilized as initial raw materials. Heat treatment of powder mixtures with various concentrations of modifying additives was carried out in the temperature range of 1250-1350oC with an isothermal exposure times of 1h and 2h.

Despite Fowl typhoid (FT) eradication in commercial poultry of some parts of the world, outbreak threats are not eliminated in poultry of developing countries. In the current study, we reported molecular identification of Salmonella gallinarum in Indian isolates from backyard poultry by a multiplex PCR assay. Boiled culture lysates of Salmonella Gallinarum isolates (n=2) from an outbreak showed positive amplifications of glgC and speC genes in duplex PCR with 174 bp and 252 bp products, respectively.

Due to its unique thermal properties, carbon nanotubes (CNTs) have been used as additives in order to increase thermal conductivity and other mechanical properties of nanofluids. There have been many studies of thermal conductivity for single phase fluids containing CNTs; however, most commercial coolants are two-phase fluids, such as the mixture of ethylene glycol and water (E/W). Similarly, there are some models that can be used to predict thermal conductivity of single phase fluids containing CNTs but not yet as a model for thermal conductivity of the E/W solution containing CNTs.

A high performance liquid chromatography with diode-array detection (HPLC-DAD) method for the determination of cysteamine supplementation in commercial animal feeds was developed. The commercial nanoparticles ZnO with - P63mc hexagonal structure, particle size of hundreds of nanometer and band gap energy about of 3.26 eV have been used on photocatalyst for methylene blue. The results showed that: as increasing irradiated time from 30 minutes to 120 minutes by 365 nm radiation of Narva LT 18W ultra - violet lamp, the color of methylene-blue and ZnO mixture were depleted gradually, in which the absorptance and photoluminescence intensity were also decreased.
