This paper examines the factors affecting the business performances of tourism firms listed in Vietnamese stock exchanges by using a crosssectional panel data during 8-year period from 2015 to 2022. The authors adopt different models including OLS, REM, FEM, FGLS to test the effects of 10 factors on the tourism firms’ business performances which are measured by three financial indicators ROA, ROE and ROS.

Present study is ascertain to elaborate the role of green supply chain management towards the suppliers’ performance. Further, the role of social capital as a potential mediator is also explored in the Thai business to business (B2B) context. Data was collected by using the survey questionnaires. Different statistical tests for measurement model and hypothesis testing respectively. Findings highlighted that suppliers’ performance both in environmental and operational terms improves due to the GSCM practices.

The study purpose is to explore the relationship between supply chain capabilities and information sharing towards the business performance. The data was drawn from 220 food companies in Thailand and the measurement scale was validated using structural equation modelling (SEM). The findings show that supplies chain management capabilities have positive and significant association with business performance. Similarly, information sharing also have positive and significant association with business performance and also has mediating impact.

Electricity tariff also changes from time to time, thus, studies regarding electricity consumption are more representative. In this study, a performance of shrimp paste production is measured by using simulation approach. A discrete event simulation model is developed to illustrate the processes in the production line which involved four major processes. From the model, it is estimated that the average process time taken to produce 2000 pieces of shrimp paste is 235.13 minutes while the average waiting time taken in the operation system is 89.21 minutes. The findings also show that the bottleneck of the production process is found to be at packaging process and some of the resources are not fully utilized.
