In addition, the effect of energy efficiency labelling can be increased by appealing to immediate attitude functions, to social-adjustive benefits (in Ghana) and to the expression of environmental values (in the Philippines). Functional appeals to delayed monetary savings appear to reduce the label’s impact. Results call for using contextually adapted campaigns to maximize the impact of energy efficiency labelling.

In this paper, we attempt to estimate reaction functions of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) based on Taylor rule and Hybrid McCallum-Taylor rule. We apply Generalized Methods of Moments (GMM) and Limited Information Maximum Likelihood (LIML) methods for estimating monetary policy reaction functions, over the period when the CBRT has conducted inflation targeting by using nominal interest rate as a monetary policy tool in free floating exchange rate regime.

Bovine fertility is affected by nutritional and non nutritional factors. The non nutritional factors include micro-climate of the stable, lay-out of the stable, hygiene and genetic manipulations. The most common cause of infertility in cattle is poor nutrition (Navarre et al., 2010). Minerals have a great impact on animal's reproductive physiology. Their imbalance causes various problems leading to lowered reproductive efficiency and resultant monetary loss to the dairy industry.

The objective of this work is to identify and examine the risk premium of the exchange rate; then, to determine the factors that cause it, and to measure its variance by using a GARCH-M model. Some theoretical models are developed by taking the exchange rate risk premium as dependent variable and other macrovariables, political events, and market conditions as independent ones. There are three different exchange rates ($/€, $/£, and ¥/$) used, here, for the measurement of the risk premium and the empirical test of the model.

Direct government intervention in the form of State Aid to the banking sector has emerged as a core theme in the recent crisis. The BU current structural design, leaving actual and potential government intervention largely unattached, may actually enhance moral hazard, negative cross-border externalities and financial fragmentation between the hard core and the periphery Member States. Borrowing costs (i.e. interest rates) would be influenced by a bank’s location rather than by the ECB’s monetary policy, eventually rendering the system unsustainable.

Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency. It is not a legal currency but a private monetary system that manages itself and does not depend on central banks or governments. Since the development of Bitcoin, its trading volume has been increasing largely and rapidly. Some fear the increase in Bitcoin usage as it is quite different from traditional currencies; however, its use is spreading all over the world. This paper examines empirically whether or not weekly price anomalies exist by checking the market efficiency of Bitcoin. The empirical results show that the Bitcoin market is not efficient.
