Motor vehicle related moderate-severe orthopaedic trauma has a major impact on the burden of injury. The aim of this study was to investigate the influence of seeking financial compensation (i.e., making a claim) on injury recovery following motor vehicle related moderate-severe orthopaedic trauma.
