This paper presents the influence of the varying axial force of cable-stayed bridge caused by moving vehicles on the detection of diameter reduction of cables using vibration signal obtained from the climbing robot. The cable model is considered as an axially loaded Euler beam. When there is no diameter reduction, the dynamic displacement of the robot is smooth and no distortion can be inspected.

Damage detection of cables in cable-stayed bridges using vibration data measured from climbing robot
The paper "Damage detection of cables in cable-stayed bridges using vibration data measured from climbing robot" presents a method for damage detection of bridge cables using the vibration signal coming from the sensor installed in the climbing robot. In this paper, the damage type of local reduction in diameter is considered. The climbing robot consisting of a body and three wheels connected to the body by three springs. The cable is considered as an axially loaded Euler beam. When there is no damage, the dynamic displacement of the robot is smooth and no distortion can be inspected.

Ebook "Nitric oxide in plants: Metabolism and role in stress physiology" covers the key features of nitric oxide (NO) in plants. Comprising nine chapters, Part I highlights its metabolism and identification in plants. Part II, which consists of eight chapters, focuses on the chemical, physical and biochemical properties of the NO molecule and its derivatives; on its functional role and mode of action; and on its signaling and interaction with phytohormones, mineral nutrients, biomolecules, ions and ion channels in plants under abiotic stresses.

Aberrant fibroblast growth factor receptor (FGFR) signaling can substantially influence oncogenicity. Despite that FGFR gene abnormality is often detected by cancer genome profiling tests, there is no tumor-agnostic approval yet for these aberrations. E7090 (tasurgratinib) is an orally available selective tyrosine kinase inhibitor of FGFR1-3.

A new PGNAA facility has been installed at horizontal channel No.4 of the Dalat research reactor. The facility consists of the following parts: collimators, beam stopper, sample holder table, beam catcher, and biological shielding. The construction takes into account the basic parameters associated with the facility, such as adequate thermal neutron flux and cadmium ratio, good signal-to-background condition, small gamma-ray contamination in the beam and appropriately low dose-rate to the operating personnel.

The role of Berberine (BBR) in colorectal cancer (CRC) and gut microbiota has begun to appreciate. However, there was no direct evidence confirm that the gut microbiota regulated by BBR could inhibit CRC. This report investigated the effect of stool from BBR treated subjects and its effect on CRC.

Single-cell analyses have revealed a tremendous variety among cells in the abundance and chemical composition of RNA. Much of this heterogeneity is due to alternative splicing by the spliceosome. Little is known about how many of the resulting isoforms are biologically functional or just provide noise with little to no impact.

Prolactin receptor (PRLR) is an attractive antibody therapeutic target with expression across a broad population of breast cancers. Antibody efficacy, however, may be limited to subtypes with either PRLR overexpression and/or those where estradiol no longer functions as a mitogen and are, therefore, reliant on PRLR signaling for growth.

Head and neck cancer (HNC) is the sixth most common cancer worldwide and therefore presents a global public health problem. There are no standard algorithms for the diagnosis and follow-up of the disease, and no effective current treatment approaches exist. Therefore, the discovery of new biomolecules and the design of new strategies to aid in early diagnosis is necessary, along with establishing prognostic factors of HNC.

Chinese jujube (Ziziphus jujuba Mill.) is one of the most important members in the Rhamnaceae family. The whole genome sequence and more than 30,000 proteins of Chinese jujube have been obtained in 2014. Mitogenactivated protein kinase cascades are universal signal transduction modules in plants, which is rapidly activated under various biotic and abiotic stresses. To date, there has been no comprehensive analysis of the MAPK and MAPKK gene family in Chinese jujube at the whole genome level.

The BES1 gene family, an important class of plant-specific transcription factors, play key roles in the BR signal pathway in plants, regulating various development processes. Until now, there has been no comprehensive analysis of the BES1 gene family in Brassica napus, and a cross-genome exploration of their origin, copy number changes, and functional innovation in plants was also not available.

Diacylglycerol kinases (DGKs) are signaling enzymes that play pivotal roles in response to abiotic and biotic stresses by phosphorylating diacylglycerol (DAG) to form phosphatidic acid (PA). However, no comprehensive analysis of the DGK gene family had previously been reported in B. napus and its diploid progenitors (B. rapa and B. oleracea).
