"Ameliorative effects of nitric oxide on growth, physiology and biochemistry of chickpea plants under salinity stress" was conducted to evaluate the effect of exogenous nitric oxide (NO) treatments on two chickpea cultivars (Cagatay and Inci) under salt stress conditions. The present study was conducted to evaluate mango (Mangifera indica L.) rootstocks under induced moisture stress condition for various morpho-physiological traits. Compared to other species of domestic animals, broiler chickens are more sensitive to high ambient temperatures. They have no sweat glands, a rapid metabolism and high body temperature. Galactinol synthase (GolS) has been known to play a key role in raffinose biosynthesis by catalysing the formation of galactinol. The GolS gene family has been recently identified in various plant species. Among them, many individual GolS genes have been reported to function in plant stress tolerance. In this study, we reported the construction of transgenic Arabidopsis overexpressing a soybean GolS gene, GolS2. There were no significant differences in the phenotypes of the transgenic and control plants during normal physiological conditions.
