Optical potential

In this work, we examine cross sections for (α, γ) reactions on p-nuclei, including 90Zr, 121Sb, 151Eu, and 162Er at astrophysically relevant energies. By using our recently developed α optical model potential (α-OMP), the (α, γ) cross sections were calculated within six models of radiative strength functions (RSF) which consisted of the microscopic HFB-QRPA model based on the BSk14 Skyrme force, the HF-BCS theory using Skyrme parameters, the EGLO model, SMLO model, the empirical SMLO (SMLOg) and global semi-microscopic (D1M-QRPAg) models.

The Jost function formalism is extended with use of the complex potential in this paper. We derive the Jost function by taking into account the dual state which is defined by the complex conjugate the complex Hamiltonian. By using the unitarity of the S-matrix which is defined by the Jost function, the optical theorem with the complex potential is also derived.

One-dimensional Al-doped CdS nanobelts were synthesized for the first time via chemical vapor deposition. The vertically synthesized Cd1-xAlxS nanobelts (x ¼ 0e3.09) exhibited high crystallinity. We have reported here an investigation of optical and electrical properties of prepared nanobelts for potential applications in nano-optoelectronics.
