The last part is the valuable things that Lao PDR can learn from the experiences of these countries.

In this paper, the authors considered theoretical approaches to family farming as a special form of social-and-economic organization, which is the most reliable mechanism for mass recruitment of rural population into the economy and optimization of material and information flows, cooperative ties of value creating participants in order to satisfy consumers in comparison with large agricultural holdings. The US experience indicates the possibility of harmonious combination of developed industry and commodity family farms in economic complexes.

The study findings indicate that about 25% of patients with breast symptoms had a delay of more than three months before presenting to a health professional. This finding is comparable with other studies. Recent studies have shown a range of 19% to 32% for patient delay [1,3,4,12,13]. However the extent of patient delay can be different in different places. One explanation for such a difference might relate to the patients' health related behaviors and the social context they live in.

Infant Mortality Infant mortality is a basic indicator of the well-being of a population and of the health status of the children. According to data from the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), a collaboration of 30 member countries sharing a com- mitment to democratic government and a market economy, Mexico’s infant mortality rate was the highest at 20.5 per 1,000 live births in 2003 (this is also the second highest rate in the OECD). Canada had the lowest infant mortality rate of the three countries in 2003 at 5.3 per 1,000 live births.
