The oscillation and convergence of the solutions of neutral difference equation r ∆(xn + δxn−τ ) + i=1 αi (n)F (xn−mi ) = 0, n = 0, 1, · · · are investigated, where mi ∈ N0 , ∀i = 1, r and F is a function mapping R to R. Keyworks: Neutral difference equation, oscillation, nonoscillation, convergence.

• ### Báo cáo khoa học: Synchronization of Ca2+ oscillations: a coupled oscillator-based mechanism in smooth muscle

Entrained oscillations in Ca 2+ underlie many biological pacemaking phe-nomena. In this article, we review a long-range signaling mechanism in smooth muscle that results in global outcomes of local interactions. Our results are derived from studies of the following: (a) slow-wave depolariza-tions that underlie rhythmic contractions of gastric smooth muscle;

• ### A new approach to the theory of hierarchic wave-oscillation dynamic systems

A new approach to the theory of hierarchic wave-oscillation dynamic systems. A set of new ideas and concepts (which the authors treat as a new version of the theory of hierarchic dynamic systems) are set forth in the article. In turn, the set of hierarchic principles is put in the methodogical basis of this theory.

• ### Calculation of the low free horizontal oscillation frequency of the ship hull, applying to a 440kW tugboat

In this paper, the author goes into the analysis of determining the quantities, giving the block diagram, programming and applying calculation of the free oscillation frequency level 1, 2 to a particular tugboat of 440kW.

• ### Homogenization of an interface highly oscillating between two concentric ellipses

The main purpose of this paper is to find the homogenized equation and the associate continuity conditions in the explicit form of a boundary-value problem in a twodimensional domain with an interface oscillating rapidly between two concentric ellipses. This boundary-value problem originates from various problems in practical applications.

• ### Some problems on nonlinear oscillations

Thia paper presents our research on the interaction between no linear oscillations, Van-der-Pol's systems subjected to complicated excitations ancl quasilinear o::;cillations in systems with large static deflections [1-4]. It is well known that there is always an interaction of some kind between nonlinear oscillations, namely, between the forced, parametric and self-excited oscillators.

• ### Van der pol's oscillator under the parametric and forced excitations

In the first case, equations of the first approximation are obtained by means of the Krylov-Bogoliubov-Mitropolskii technique, their averaging is performed, frequencyamplitude and resonance curves are studied, on the stability of the given system is considered. In the second case, the possibility of chaotic behavior in a deterministic system of oscillator type is shown.

• ### On the interaction between self-excited and forced oscillations

The influence of the exciting force to resonant characteristics in a model of the small oscillation is investigated. Averaging method is used to determine resonant stationary solutions of all possible resonant oscillations and their stability. The numerical simulations used for oscillations in time domain and the analytic approaches give consistent results.

• ### A numerical model for the tidal oscillation and current in the gulf of Tonkin

In this paper results of a numerical model, based on the TIDEFLOW-2D Software, for the tidal oscillation and current in the Gulf of Tonkin (GT) are presented . The model was tested as follows: i) the observed values of the four main tidal constituents M2 , S2, K i, 01 at the 44 coastal stations and islands were compared with computed ones; ii the computed tidal levels ware compared with the correlative ones in the Tide Tables.

• ### Nonlinear oscillators under delay control

In this paper, oscillations and stability of nonlinear oscillators with time delay are studied by means of the asymptotic method of nonlinear mechanics. Harmonic, superharmonic, subharmonic and parametric resonances of a Duffings oscillator are analyzed. Analytical method in combination with a computer is used.

• ### Interaction between parametric and forced oscillations in fundamental resonance

The present paper is devoted to examine the interaction between parametric and forced oscillations in fundamental resonances. Some remark about the resolution of the equations determining the stationary oscillations will begiven, some particularities of the resonance curve will be described.

• ### Forced oscillation of the rectangular thin plate on the elastic foundation with two coefficients

Parametric oscillation of the rectangular thin plate on the elastic foundation with two coefficients1 when making mention of the creep of material, has been investigated in earlier publications (see for example [2, 3]). However forced oscillation of the rectangular thin plate, to the author's knowledge, has not been hitherto examined.

• ### On quasiperiodic oscillations of a nonlinear dynamic system of liapunov type with time lag

The paper is concerned with the investigation of the quasiperiodic oscillations of a nonlinear dynamic system of Liapunov type with time lag. The following results are obtained: The necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of the quasiperiodic solution describing the oscillating processes. The approximate quasiperiodic solution in the power series.

• ### Interaction between nonlinear parametric and forced oscillations

The interaction of nonlinear oscillations is an important and interesting problem, which has attracted the attention of many researchers. Minorsky N. [5] has stated "Perhaps the whole theory of nonlinear oscillations could be formed on the basis of interaction".
