The purpose of our research is to study new opportunities in agile supply chain management, identify barriers to agile supply chain management, develop a methodology to overcome these barriers and make proposals for agile supply chain management in multinational corporations.The study and analysis of supply chain management of multinational corporations allowed us to define the specifics of the industry using the following research methods: the choice of logistics intermediaries, forecasting (indicators, flows, etc.), nomenclature groups, risk optimization, statistical data analysis.

After oral administration, probiotic lactobacilli meet a number of protection systems in the human body, such as exposure to gastric, pancreatic, and small intestinal juices. Overcoming these detrimental barriers allows living bacteria to adhere to the intestinal epithelium and permanently colonize the gastrointestinal tract (GIT), providing health benefits to the host. Based on this, the transit tolerance of 25 candidate probiotic lactobacilli from katak, yoghurt, and white-brined and yellow cheese to simulated bile and small intestinal juices of variable pH was investigated.

This study focuses on designing exercises that help students overcome those barriers to improve their ability in translating English metaphorical expression. The aims of this paper are to investigate the barriers and the sources of resistance to change in hotel firms and to evaluate the change in strategies adopted in seeking to overcome these barriers. Primary data were gathered through in-depth semi-structured interviews in nine hotels in the UK. The findings indicate that the cost of change, financial difficulties and the pressure of other priorities are the main barriers to change in hotel firms. The findings also indicate that hotel companies use multiple change strategies in overcoming barriers to change.

In the healthcare industry we have had a significant rise in the use of electronic health records (EHRs) in health care settings (e.g. hospital, clinic, physician office and home). There are three main barriers that have arisen to the adoption of these technologies: (1) a shortage of health professional faculty who are familiar with EHRs and related technologies, (2) a shortage of health informatics specialists who can implement these technologies, and (3) poor access to differing types of EHR software.

We reviewed an additional 47 studies addressing barriers to the treatment of patients with sickle cell disease and interventions to overcome these barriers. In our review of barriers to adequate pain management, we found two factors that were identified as a barrier in more than two studies: negative provider attitudes and poor provider knowledge.
