In this paper, the author has designed and simulated low-power CAM memory. Content address memory (CAM) will compare stored data with search data and return the appropriate address. CAM is used in applications of packet forwarding and packet sorting in network routers. The article designates a conventional CAM memory and a proposed CAM memory.

Chapter 22 - Network layer: Delivery, forwarding, and routing. This chapter describes the delivery, forwarding, and routing of IP packets to their final destinations. Delivery refers to the way a packet is handled by the underlying networks under the control of the network layer. Forwarding refers to the way a packet is delivered to the next station. Routing refers to the way routing tables are created to help in forwarding.

Chapter 6 - Delivery, forwarding, and routing of IP packets. This chapter describes the delivery and forwarding of IP packets. Delivery refers to the way a packet is handled by the underlying networks under the control of the network layer. Concepts such as direct and indirect delivery are discussed. Forwarding refers to the way a packet is delivered to the next station. We discuss two trends in forwarding: forwarding based on destination address of the packet and forwarding based on the label attached to the packet.

This paper introduces a forked communication network model with non-homogenous network model with bulk arrivals and phase type transmission. In this model it is assumed that the messages are converted into packets of random size and stored in buffers for forward transmission.

In this paper we deal with the problem of packet forwarding misbehavior and study the effect of different attacks on AODV (Ad-hoc On-demand Distance Vector) routing since it is a mostly accepted network routing protocol for Mobile Adhoc Network (MANET).
