The paper aims to explore and locate the factors influencing students’ success in studying business English writing. The sample taking part in the action research and then responding to the survey questionnaire includes 199 students majoring in Business English at a university in Ho Chi Minh City.

The inheritance pattern of flower colour in underutilized tuberous legume crop yam bean was studies by utilizing a white flower colour line (YBWF1) and two purple flower colour lines (RM-1 and L No-3). The F1 and F2 population along with parental lines were evaluated to study the inheritance pattern of the flower colour. All the F1 hybrids showed purple colour in both the crosses and in the F2 segregation generation, the observed distribution of the flower colour fitted the expected Mendalian ratio of 3 (Purple flower colour):1 (white flower colour).

Northern Corn Leaf Blight (NCLB or NLB) caused by Exserohilum turcicum is a common disease of maize in many parts of the world including India. Resistance to NCLB is complexly inherited and controlled by several quantitative trait loci (QTL) distributed across the genome. Phenotype as well as linked DNA marker based selection for resistance to NCLB is expected to be effective. Hence an investigation was carried out involving a total of 569 F2:3 families derived from two crosses viz., PH234 X PHBP3 and PH234 X PH84K, where PH234 is resistant parent and PHBP3 and PH84K are susceptible parents.

A set of 75 pigeonpea genotypes were evaluated during kharif 2017-18, to determine the genetic divergence among these genotypes for 17 seed yield and quality characters and to identify divergent parents. UPGMA method of Hierarchical Cluster analysis used with City Block distances grouped these genotypes into ten distinct clusters comprising of one to twenty genotypes. Maximum inter cluster distance was observed between cluster II and VIII followed by cluster II and VI and cluster II and IX.

This study examined the association between four patterns of probable perinatal depression (mother depressed, father depressed, both depressed, neither depressed) in co-parenting mothers and fathers and their children’s internalizing and externalizing behaviours at 24 and 36 months of age.

Along with the development of socio-economy, in order to meet the needs for schooling, the non-public education area (NPA) in Vietnam has gradually developed, especially for the kinder garden level. However, the development is not as expected with many scandals causing skepticism. The research investigates more than 1,700 parents - who have children in NPA kinder garden in 42 provinces shows that the NPA kinder gardens meet a decent expectation. The level of satisfaction is corresponding higher in urban areas, which were stand as school or foreign effects related.

This study focuses on children living in foster families with a history of maltreatment or neglect. These children often show adverse mental health outcomes refected in increased externalizing and internalizing problems. It is expected that these adverse outcomes are associated with increased parental stress levels experienced by foster mothers as well as foster fathers.
