Participation and empowerment

In order to investigate the impact of social customer relationship management on customer retention through customer empowerment, this research paper was took place using a sample of social media users who were customers of Islamic banks in Kuwait. An online survey-founded questionnaire was conducted to gather data. A total of 600 questionnaires were distributed to participants in this study and 417 questionnaires were returned. On the basis of IBM SPSS 24 and IBM AMOS 22, data analysis confirmed that customer empowerment significantly mediated the effect of social CRM on customer retention.

Three sub-districts of Minneapolis Sidoarjo regency, which are Sedati, Candi, and Jabon are not only had superior fishery products, but it also has a potential area to be a highly prospective marine ecotourism. This quantitative research aims to analyze the public relations mix of Sidoarjo Regency, empowerment, community participation, supply chain management and sustainable marine ecotourism development. The research data is conducted by distributing questionnaires towards 204 respondents; then, data collection will be coded and analyzed by utilizing multiple linear regression SPSS 20.

This paper reviews the literature on women’s economic empowerment, including women’s agency, which are relevant to this study. Paper aims to review advances in the concept and measurement of agency and empowerment in the relevant literature. Secondly, in order to understand the empirical aspects of women’s agency and empowerment. To explore the relationships between participant characteristics, perceptions of a short educational video about osteoarthritis and its management, and immediate changes in behavioural determinants for effective selfmanagement behaviours. Seventy-eight participants with knee OA (77% female, mean age 63.0±8.7) watched the 9-min video that included evidence-based content and was designed to foster empowerment to self-manage effine and immediately after watching the video.

Agripreneurs were agricultural entrepreneurs. This study focused on entrepreneurial behavior of women agripreneurs. Namakkal district of Tamil Nadu was selected as it had highest female work participation rate (42.8%). Out of four taluks, Namakkal and Paramathi velur taluk was selected since it had the greatest number of agro-based enterprises.

A participatory empowerment model was developed for dairy farmers on the basis of various identified factors in Namakkal district, Tamil Nadu, India. This farmer’s participation model consists of steps like, analyses of resource availability, feeding pattern appraisal and micro level approach with ICT integration. After assessing the availability of feed resources and feeding pattern in the study area, a software was developed to solve the feeding problems of dairy farmers at every farm and every animal level.

In rural India, the percentage of women who depend on agriculture for their livelihood is as high as 84%.Apart from participation in actual cultivation; women participate in various forms of processing and marketing of agricultural produce. Women accounted for 93% of total employment in dairy production. To begin with training programmes were started to self-help groups (SHG) on labour saving equipment, processing, value addition and storage of grains followed by model processing units establishment in rural areas. Workshops and melas were also conducted for empowerment of women in SHGs.

Gender Empowerment has been a highly focused area over three decades to empower women so that they can be made free from the mettle of exploitation, deprivation, and social impoverishment. The study was conducted in Haringhata Block under Nadia district of West Bengal. Both purposive as well as simple random sampling was adopted for selection of 100 respondents in five mouzas of the selected block. Among the other community media, community radio station has the potential to empower the grassroots people and strengthen the democracy in its operation. These radio stations work on the principle of participatory communication and are the medium of the poorest of the poor. The future of the poor and marginalised section of the society depends on how effectively and efficiently the community media are being utilized to address their specific development and informational needs.
