In this work, the effect of annealing temperature and Cr3+ concentration on the structural and optical properties of the SnO2 host crystals has been investigated. The Cr-doped SnO2 samples were synthesized by a simple hydrolysis method, using SnCl4.5H2O as the host precursor and CrCl3.6H2O as the source of dopant.

In this study, we successfully synthesized europium-doped TiO2 (TiO2 :Eu3+) nanomaterials (NMs) with crystalline sizes ranging from 6.5 to 71.7 nm through a sol-gel method. Analysis of X-ray diffraction (XRD) patterns and ultraviolet-visible (UV-Vis) spectra indicates that the substitution of smaller-sized Ti4+ ions (0.745 Å) by largersized Eu3+ ions (0.947 Å) was more efficient at higher doping concentrations and annealing temperatures.

Terbium doped Sulfamic Acid (Tb3+:SA) single crystals were grown successfully by the slow evaporation solution (SEST) technique and the unidirectional method. The lattice parameters and the functional group were identified for the grown crystal by using single crystal X-ray diffraction and Fourier transform infra-red spectroscopy (FTIR), respectively.

One-dimensional Al-doped CdS nanobelts were synthesized for the first time via chemical vapor deposition. The vertically synthesized Cd1-xAlxS nanobelts (x ¼ 0e3.09) exhibited high crystallinity. We have reported here an investigation of optical and electrical properties of prepared nanobelts for potential applications in nano-optoelectronics.

The synthesized complexes have also been explored for forensic applications as fingerprint developing dyes. Solid-state reaction, co-precipitation, and sol-gel procedures were used to synthesize the Sr3Y1.95Ge3O12:0.05Eu3+ (SYGO: Eu3+) garnet structure. The morphological structure and photoluminescence properties of the samples were studied. Phosphors have morphologies and particle sizes that vary depending on the preparation.

Coordination-driven self-assembly of nickel (II) ions with equimolar amounts of 1, 10 phenanthroline, and benzoic acid was used to create homonuclear nickel (II) MOF-type supramolecule. Single crystal X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, differential scanning calorimetry, photoluminescence measurement, FT-IR, UV-visible spectroscopy, and nitrogen physisorption measurement were used to characterize the compound. The single crystal X-ray diffraction study reveals that the synthesized compound is twodimensional with pores in the structure.

A green light emitting polymer in a PMMA matrix: oligo(azomethine-ether) with benzothiazole moieties
This study aimed to synthesize an oligo(azomethine-ether) with benzothiazole moiety in organic medium by means of chemical oxidative polycondensation (OP). Optical properties were examined by photoluminescence (PL) and UV-Vis measurements both in solutions and solid film involved a poly (methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) matrix. Oligomer film in the PMMA matrix emitted a fine green light with a fluorescence quantum yield (QY) of 3.30%. Spectral and thermal observations showed a high rate of C–O–C coupling (cross-linking) for the oligomer.

A series of solution processable, wide band-gap host materials composed of carbazole and tetraphenylsilane groups were designed and synthesized. Their thermal, electrochemical, and photophysical properties were fully investigated. The introduction of bulky tetraphenylsilane and tert-butyl groups around the carbazole led to high glass transition temperatures (Tg) between 120 and 204◦C. The triplet energies (ET) of the synthesized materials were examined by low temperature (77 K) photoluminescence studies and determined as E T > 2.6 for all compounds.

New coordination polymers, formulated as {[Zn(µ-sipH)(µ-apim)]·3H2O}n (1) and {[Cd(µ-sip)(H2O)2(apimH)]·3H2 O}n (2) were synthesized based on the 1-(3-aminopropyl)imidazole (apim) along with 5-sulfoisophthalate (sip) ligands. The complexes were synthesized under mild hydrothermal conditions. All the complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, FT-IR spectroscopy, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction studies.

In this study, we synthesized K3AlF6:Mn4+ phosphor by co-precipitation method and investigated its crystal structure and photoluminescence properties . By surface modification of K3AlF6:Mn4+ using K3AlF6, the moisture resistance performance of the phosphor can be significantly improved.
