In this study, spinel ferrite nanoparticles CoFe2-xLaxO4 (x = 0, 0.025, and 0.05) were successfully synthesized via a simple co-precipitation method using a 5% NaOH solution as a precipitating agent. The physicochemical properties of the materials, annealed at 850 °C for one hour, were characterized using powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD), energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and vibrating-sample magnetometry (VSM) at room temperature.

A metal-organic framework Cu2(NDC)2(DABCO) was synthesized from copper nitrate trihydrate, 2,6-Napthalenedicarboxylic acid (H2NDC), and 1,4-diazabicyclo[2.2.2]octane (DABCO) by solvothermal method. Its physicochemical properties were confirmed by several techniques such as X-ray powder diffraction (PXRD), Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and transmission electron microscopy (TEM).

This study evaluates the effectiveness of using crushed construction and demolition waste as reactive media for applying in Permeable Reactive Barriers to treat contaminated groundwater by landfill leachate. Modern analytical methods such as SEM and EDX were used to analyze the physicochemical properties of crushed demolition waste, demonstrating that the material has a porous structure on the surface that is suitable for the targeted heavy metal adsorption.

Periodontitis is a chronic bacterial infection destroying tooth-supporting tissues. Like metronidazole, tinidazole (TNZ) is also effective in treating periodontitis. In this study, a computational investigation of the physicochemical properties of hypericin and pseudohypericin revealed drug-like characteristics. Pharmacokinetic predictions indicated that hypericin and pseudohypericin are non-toxic to the central nervous system, hepatic system, and cardiac system. Molecular docking results indicated a strong binding affinity of hypericin/pseudohypericin with MPXV thymidylate kinase. As a result, these compounds are being considered as potential Mpox control candidates.

Oil was extracted from moringa (PKM-1) seed kernel by using supercritical fluid (SCCO2) extraction process. Supercritical fluid pressures of 100, 150 and 200 bar and temperatures of 40, 50 and 60 °C were considered for SC-CO2 extraction process. Maximum extraction yield of 37.76 g/100g and extraction efficiency of 98.43% were obtained at supercritical fluid pressure of 200 bar and temperature of 40 °C.

A database containing chemical structures of 60 inhibitors and their Ki values was put into molecular operating environment (MOE) 2008.10 software, and the two-dimensional (2D) physicochemical descriptors were numerically calculated. The present study was conducted to evaluate the shelf- life of paneer wrapped with oregano essential oil treated starch and carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) based edible packaging film. The edible film was prepared by adding starch (5g), carboxymethyl cellulose (15 % W/W starch) in distilled water (100mL) and glycerol (40ml/100g starch).
