Planning framework for logistics

Trust and trustworthiness are very important in agroindustry logistic and supply chain. The objective of this article is to analyse the existing methods and approaches for trust and trustworthiness to develop a new framework in agroindustry logistics and the supply chain from shipment planning, routing and scheduling, shipping and inventory control. This paper reviewed and synthesized 84 scientific articles which were published between 2009 and 2019.

Th e prime objective for writing the fi rst edition of this book was to provide an up-to-date text at a reasonable cost. We also felt that there was a signifi cant gap in the literature for a book that off ered a broad strategic framework as well as a clear and straightforward description of the basic functions and elements related to logistics and distribution. In the second edition of the book, published in 2000, we provided a signifi cant revision of the original text.

Due to constraints to rapid scale up of interventions (restrictions in access, logistic, human and financial resources) a phased approach has been adopted. Within developing countries, health sector reform, often including decen- tralized priority setting, increases the information and advocacy burden for inclusion of SRH concerns. Central functions (like operating logistic systems and service quality control) require high-level commitment and a supportive policy and regulatory framework. The international discussion on SRH emphasizes an outcome-oriented public health approach but people react to multiple dimensions. Strong pas- sions and intensive debates continue on a range of issues: abortion, adolescent SRH and even family planning.
