This study seeks to explore the potential of the Project-based learning method in enhancing three important soft skills, including critical thinking, social-emotional skill, and self-regulation, which are believed to be beneficial for students’ sustainable development, among non-English-major students in a university in Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam.

There were only limited researches on the properties of 3D periodic cellular materials, especially for 3D periodic cellular materials with Schwarz primitive structure which have potential to be used for energy absorption. The objective of this study is to investigate the energy absorption, compressive strength and deformation pattern of the 3D periodic cellular materials with Schwarz primitive structure, which possesses optimum bulk modulus. The epigenetic mechanisms involved have also been explained to an extent. Certain diseases that manifest due to ageing can potentially be delayed with the right nutrition and diet. Antioxidants and polyphenols help reduce the oxidative stress, and this study is important as oxidative stress is one of the main reasons of ageing. Many theories for ageing have been hypothesised and are under study. Nutrigenomics might be the break-through that changes the perception of “diets” and how beneficial the right diet can be on human health.

The Ryanodine Receptor-1 gene (RYR-1) is located in the 6p11 → q21 region on the No. 6 chromosome of pigs. RYR-1 is being investigated in several studies as a potentially important gene that is an indicator of pork quality. A database consisting of 23 tripeptides was used to study the quantitative relationships between electric surface potential descriptors and antioxidant activity QESARs. The important structural descriptors SaaNH_acnt, SsOH_acnt, SaaN, SaaN_acnt, SsssCH, SaaaC, SsNH3p, SdO, SdO_acnt were selected for constructing the linear models QESARs with genetic algorithm. The best 4-variable linear model QESARlinear including the structural descriptors SaaN, SdO, SdO_acnt and SsOH_acnt was constructed. The quality QESARlinear was exhibited in statistical values R2 fitness of 97.

My these contributes to audit literature that investigates the effect of audit firm portfolio characteristics on audit outcomes by 1) providing a new measure that allows researchers to proxy for nonpublic audit influence and 2) investigating the potential impact of NPAC on public client audit outcomes. My findings are important because they suggest that timely and cost-effective audits of similar quality are available from providers that do not concentrate on public client audits.
