The present paper provides a case study of rice farmers in the Muda granary area, which covers the states of Kedah and Perlis, using primary data to identify the factors on the adoption of PEP among farmers. The research findings indicate that the key factors determining the farmers’ adoption of the PEP are age, secondary jobs, effective communication with the extension agency, increased rice yield, lower operating cost, lower working time in the fields, and support services, such as assistance, incentives, and facilities from the government.

Laparoscopic liver resection (LLR) is now widely performed in treating primary liver cancer (PLC) and yields equal long-term and superior short-term outcomes to those of open liver resection (OLR). The optimal surgical approach for resectable PLC (rPLC) remains controversial. Herein, we aimed to develop a nomogram to determine the most appropriate resection approach for the individual patient.

The triple test cross analysis in brought out that significant epistasis is present for most of the characters in three crosses except primary branches in C-I; days to flowering and number of ridges in C-II; days to 50 per cent flowering and primary branches in C-III. Significant additive × additive epistasis was recorded for fruits per plan, plant height and fruit yield in all the three crosses.

A field trial was conducted at the Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Raisen, Madhya Pradesh for two consecutive years during 2016-2017 & 2017-2018 to determine the influence of different mulch materials on vegetative growth and yield of ginger (Zingiber officinale Rosc.) under drip irrigation system. The research trials for the consecutive two years showed that plastic mulch resulted significantly higher in plant height, No. of tillers clump-1 , Number of leaves clump-1 , No.

The present research was carried out to determine the selection criteria for yield improvement in selected genotypes of Indian mustard. Thirty genotypes were sown at MGCGV farm Chitrakoot to evaluate the mean and component of variability, correlation and path analysis for yield and various yield components. The correlation coefficient of the seed yield per plant (g.) had significant and positive correlation with plant height; number of primary branch, total no. of siliqua per plant and 1000-seed weight at genotypic level.

The primary objective of the study was to determine the best parametric model that can be used for fitting yield curves for a bank between Nelson-Siegel model and Nelson-Siegel-Svensson.Nelson-Siegel and Nelson-Siegel-Svensson models using Ordinary Least Squares after fixing the shape parameters to make the models linear models. A t-test conducted is conducted on the adjusted R2 of the two models and results showed that Nelson-Siegel-Svensson model fits better the yield curves of the Bank compared to Nelson-Siegel model.

A study was undertaken to determine the extent of genetic variability for seed yield and ten other quantitative characters and two qualitative characters in 45 genotypes of Niger. The analysis of variance revealed significant differences among genotypes for all the characters. High genotypic coefficient and phenotypic coefficient of variation was recorded for number of secondary branches per plant followed by number of capitula per plant, 1000 seed weight, seed yield per plant, number of seed per capitula and number of primary branches per plant, days to 50% flowering.

Climate is the primary determinant of agricultural productivity. Climate change effects agricultural operations in a number of ways, including through changes in average temperatures, rainfall, and climate extremes. Concern over the potential effects of longterm climatic change on agriculture has motivated a substantial body of research over the past decade. The present study was conducted in Dharwad districts of Karnataka state during 2016-17.

The present study was conducted to determine phenotypic performance, genetic variability, heritability, genetic advance, diversity, correlation and path analysis for yield and seventeen yield attributing characters of forty five sponge gourd germplasm. PCV was higher than GCV for all the traits studied. High PCV and GCV were recorded for number of primary branches, number of fruiting nodes on main stem, sex ratio, fruits per plant and yield per plant. Thirteen characters showed high heritability coupled with high genetic advance.

This study also departs from earlier research on this topic in that it focuses on survey- based expectations. Investor cash flow projections are largely inferred from surveys of equity analysts’ earnings forecasts, while inflation expectations are drawn from surveys of professional forecasters. While having its own disadvantages, particularly a relatively short history, the use of survey expectations are a direct measure of market expectations, eliminating the need to make strong identifying assumptions on how expectations are formed.
