An automated system has been developed to detect and mark non-hatchable eggs efficiently. The system includes a conveyor that moves trays of 100 eggs through a high-power LED light assembly.

Graphene-based electrode materials exhibit a high specific capacitance and long charge-discharge cycling life, but the material cost remains high because of the complexity of the graphene manufacturing process. This study employed an electrochemical exfoliation method to prepare graphene in a simple and ecologically friendly procedure. According to research findings, the disordered multi-layer structure of graphene exhibited great purity, porosity, and graphitization.

In this study, we investigate using acrylic and acrylic-styrene emulsions as curing solution to enhance water resistance and prevent cracking in cement concrete surfaces. Our main objective is to investigate the possibilities of utilizing washing waste generated during the Rhomn & Haas factory - Dow Chemical Vietnam production process. This work demonstrated the potential of US for mitigating membrane fouling. However, the integration of the US transducers within the membrane system will be a major challenge for the application of US in membrane cleaning. It is more appropriate that US is used as pre-treatment to the membrane system, the transducers can be placed prior to the coagulant feed line. Further work on the determination of the detailed mechanisms associated with enhancing coagulation would enable optimisation of the system with regard to process, cost and energy efficiency.

This thesis deals with the finite element simulation of spot welded joint in crash analysis. Spot welding is a very common joining process in the automotive industry. It is cost effective and it provides a very fast production rate of automotive body components. Despite this advantage, spot welds are very susceptible to various types of loading conditions. Therefore they are prone to failure, if not designed properly, during their service life time. Therefore it is very important to understand the behaviour of spot welds and their failure characteristics.

The design proposed in this thesis aims to reduce the distortion in Class-D Amplifier output at the cost of increased complexity in the implementation. The thesis is focussed on the DSP components of the unique design. State-ofthe-art FPGAs have been used as the implementation platform for these systems due to advantages such as abundant logic resources, ease of programming and re-configurability. The results demonstrate advantages of SWL processing systems in terms of efficient hardware utilization.

This research aims to extend the understanding of contingency theory and the factors influencing Activity-Based Costing (ABC) and Activity-Based Budgeting (ABB) system implementation in developing economies. Using qualitative case-based methods, the unique features of ABC/ABB implementation in three large Thai companies from telecommunications, banking and oil industries were investigated. Interviews were conducted with key personnel involved with the implementation process. The Telecommunications Company and Bank implemented ABC and the Oil Company implemented ABB.

Once the mechanical properties of printed TPU are characterised, a novel, low cost, and environmentally friendly method for concrete casting using printed TPU moulds is proposed in this thesis. The findings of this thesis will provide clear guidelines for the selection of processing parameters for additively manufactured TPU parts and the method of casting complicated concrete structures with additively manufactured TPU mould.
