We aimed to screen novel gene signatures for ovarian cancer (OC) and explore the role of biomarkers in OC via regulating pyroptosis using bioinformatics analysis. The proliferation, migration, and invasion were determined using cell counting kit and transwell assay. Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay was applied to measure infammatory factors. The mRNA and protein expression were detected using real-time quantitative PCR and western blot.

Quantitation was performed with multiple reaction monitoring in the negative ionization mode. The response of the method was linear over a dynamic range of 0.5–500, 1.0–750, and 0.25–150 ng/mL for LOS, EXP-3174, and HCTZ, respectively. Extent of signal suppression/enhancement was examined through postcolumn infusion. The effect of matrix components was evaluated by postextraction spiking and calculation of the slope of calibration lines. The method was successfully applied to a bioequivalence study of 50 mg losartan and 12.

This research evaluated the biotechnological potential of fifteen native Trichoderma strains that were previously isolated from the rhizosphere of maize cultivated at the Estado de Mexico (Mexico). The radial growth rate of each fungal strain was assessed as well as the qualitative analysis of enzyme activity on specific culture media.

Twenty Five lignolytic fungi were isolated from decaying wood samples and were screened for the laccase production using guaiacol and ABTS as indicator compounds. The positive isolates were confirmed for the presence of laccase using Azure B and quantitative enzyme assay in presence of catalase using ABTS as substrate. Further laccase producing capacity of fungus was estimated in seven different media where Czapex Dox medium showed highest enzymatic activity of 17.2 U/ml.

Field experiment was conducted in black soils in order to study the soil enzyme activities viz., Dehydrogenase, Urease and Phosphatases for maize using Arbuscular mycorrhizal (AM) fungi and Zinc Solubilizing Bacteria (ZSB) in combination with graded levels of ZnSO4. Treatment consisted of two factors viz., Microbial inoculation (M1 : control, M2 : AM fungi, M3 : ZSB and M4 : M2 + M3 ) and graded levels of ZnSO4 (S1 : 0, S2 : 12.5, S3 : 25, S4 : 37.5, S5 : 50 kg ha-1 and S6 : 0.5 % foliar spray @ 45 and 65 DAS) replicated three times in FRBD.

Aim of the present work was to study the species composition of fungi found in some thermal springs of Azerbaijan, and to evaluate them according to their activity of hydrolytic enzymes. This study shows that in the formation of mycobiota of thermal water sources of Azerbaijan, located in Greater Caucasus, takes part 22 species of fungi, 77.3% of which belongs to the division of Ascomycota, the others belongs to the division of Zygomycota.

Some biological indicators of soils in the zone of technogenic factor (on the example of cement plant “Holcim”-Azerbaijan) were studied. Changes in the quantitative composition of microorganisms, soil respiration, enzyme activity, degree of urea decomposition are being observed in the soil samples. The results of the biotesting showed that soil samples from four sites had a toxic effect on Dafnia magna, Chlorella vulgaris and soil nematodes.

Twenty five biodegradable waste samples were collected from different waste dumping sites of district Baramulla from five locations viz., Wadura, Sopore, Baramulla town, Bomai and Pattan. The cellulolytic bacteria were isolated on Carboxyl Methyl Cellulose Agar Medium (CMC) by following serial dilution pour plate method. The cellulolytic bacterial isolates were screened qualitatively as well as quantitatively at three different temperatures (10, 15 & 20oC) and three different pHs (5, 7 and 9).

Carotenoids are a class of pigment elements present in photosynthetic organisms. The transcripts of specific carotenoid biosynthetic genes are probably important for the formation of different colors of flower petals. Zeaxanthin epoxidase (ZEP) enzyme activity is important for the high content of carotenoids in petals. In the present study, the zeaxanthin epoxidase gene in Brassica napus L. (BnZEP) was cloned and bioinformatically analyzed

Onconase, a member of the ribonuclease superfamily, is a potent cytotoxicagent that isundergoingphase II/IIIhuman clinical trials as an antitumor drug. Native onconase from Rana pipiensand its amphibian homologs have an N-ter-minal pyroglutamyl residue that is essential for obtaining fully active enzymes with their full potential as cytotoxins. When expressed cytosolically in bacteria, Onconase is isolated with an additional methionyl (Met1) residue and glutaminyl insteadof a pyroglutamyl residue at position 1 of the N-terminus and is consequently inactivated....

Realistic quantitative models require data from many laboratories. There-fore, standardization of experimental systems and assay conditions is crucial. Moreover, standards should be representative of thein vivoconditions. How-ever, most often, enzyme–kinetic parameters are measured under assay con-ditions that yield the maximum activity of each enzyme.
