This paper presents a data classification problem and methods to improve imbalanced data classification. Especially, biomedical data has a very high imbalance rate and the sample identification of minority class is a very important. Many studies have shown that border elements are important in imbalanced data classification such as Borderline-SMOTE, Random Under Border Sampling.

Pest control practices in the vegetable crops have been heavily dominated by the routine use of broad-spectrum insecticides to control pests. Concerns have emerged about the adverse consequences of over use of pesticide. These consequences include short and longterm health hazards, contamination and environmental degradation. To minimize the pest losses farmers heavily depend on the chemical pesticides and accessing pest management information from the pesticide dealers due to weak state extension support system.

Solving particle transport problems with the Monte Carlo method is simple - just simulate the particle behavior. The devil is in the details, however. This course provides a balanced approach to the theory and practice of Monte Carlo simulation codes, with lectures on transport, random number generation, random sampling, computational geometry, collision physics, tallies, statistics, eigenvalue calculations, variance reduction, and parallel algorithms.
