Redundant enhancers

In this paper, we propose several designs of filter bank based decision feedback equalizers (DFE) for frequency selective multi-input multi-output (MIMO) systems. Transmission schemes over frequency selective channels are typically block based, and redundancy in form of guard intervals must be used to avoid inter-block interference (IBI).

Robustness and evolutionary stability of gene expression in the human genome are established by an array of redundant enhancers. Results: Using Hi-C data in multiple cell lines, we report a comprehensive map of promoters and active enhancers connected by chromatin contacts, spanning 9000 enhancer chains in 4 human cell lines associated with 2600 human genes.

The objective function is the total weight of the structure while the strength and serviceability constraints are evaluated with nonlinear inelastic analysis. To save computational cost, an improved differential evolution (DE) algorithm is employed. Compared to the conventional DE algorithm, the proposed method has two major improvements: (1) a self-adaptive mutation strategy based on the p-best method to enhance the balance between global and local searches and (2) use of the multi-comparison technique (MCT) to reduce redundant structural analyses.

In distributed system data replication is needed in order to improve data availability and performance among replica and those replicas need to be periodically refreshed using some update propagation strategies because the data store may be physically distributed across multiple machines at multiple sites. Data availability means to provide data to requesting node. The key issue is to decide where, when and by whom replicas should be placed and mechanisms to use for keeping the replicas consistent. Replication is a way to enhance the performance of application that accesses the data.

This paper presents an unsupervised relation extraction method for discovering and enhancing relations in which a specified concept in Wikipedia participates. Using respective characteristics of Wikipedia articles and Web corpus, we develop a clustering approach based on combinations of patterns: dependency patterns from dependency analysis of texts in Wikipedia, and surface patterns generated from highly redundant information related to the Web.
