The present study aims to investigate the characteristics of remuneration systems practices of Vietnamese enterprises. The study was based on qualitative approaches with 20 firm HR managers in domestic and FDI enterprises in Dong Nai province, Vietnam. The result shows that the sustainability of the remuneration system, through the links between remuneration system characteristics and SHRM principles.

This research investigated the main factors that influence labor quality in the handicraft sector of Bac Ninh province. A total of 261 laborers in this sector were interviewed according to 48 various aspects of labor quality. Exploratory factor analysis was employed to group different variables and a regression model was used to predict the impact of the main factors on the quality of labor.

The model describes the behaviour of consumers, which are heterogeneous in terms of age, income and ¯nancial assets. They maximize the utility from consumption sub- ject to the life-cycle budget constraint. Their savings are remunerated at the deposit interest rate and the cost of borrowing is given by the lending rate. When young, con- sumers work and receive wages that depend on an idiosyncratic, stochastic component and a deterministic life-cycle pro¯le of productivity. When old, they are on a manda- tory retirement and receive pensions.
