Existing knowledge on healthcare use and costs in the last months of life is often limited to one patient group (i.e., cancer patients) and one level of healthcare (i.e., secondary care). Consequently, decision-makers lack knowledge in order to make informed decisions about the allocation of healthcare resources for all patients.

Patients with fewer socioeconomic and health literacy resources are disadvantaged in their access and use of healthcare, which may give rise to worse experiences with care and thus inequalities in patient experiences. However, only a limited number of studies have examined how socioeconomic and health literacy factors shape inequalities in patients’ experiences with cancer care.

This study applies a more suitable approach. Studies that have examined the relationship between school governance and lecturer competence have a direct impact on training quality and especially consider the mediating role of service quality between university governance and lecturer competence on training quality. The goal of this book is to propose an alternative approach to address the problem of the exponential rise of health care costs, and, more importantly, to address the lingering dilemma of how to establish broadly agreed-upon fundamental guidelines by which health care can be managed in a manner that is more morally appropriate. Although in no way a new concept, the notion that society’s financial resources, even when it comes to health care, are indeed limited is one with which the general public has grown increasingly familiar only during the past two decades.

In the context that the people’s healthcare needs are increasing while state resources are limited, the continued implementation of the mechanism of autonomy and self-responsibility for public non-business health units has become increasingly important. Many consequences were brought about by the implementation of the autonomy mechanism and the failure to maintain the level of autonomy when compared with the previous period. In contrast, the policies must simultaneously ensure sustainability in autonomy for public health service units.

The clinical utility of exome sequencing is now well documented. Rapid exome sequencing (RES) is more resource-intensive than regular exome sequencing and is typically employed in specialized clinical settings wherein urgent molecular diagnosis is thought to influence acute management. Studies on the clinical utility of RES have been largely limited to outbred populations.
