Sampling procedure and sample size

The primary objective of this study is to identify the factors that impact students’ learning outcomes and propose measures for enhancing these outcomes. The research encompasses two phases: qualitative research and quantitative research. Following the survey and data cleansing procedures, the sample size for analysis comprises 350 observations.

The research examined of knowledge and attitude towards violence against women among male health workers in Akure South Local Government Area, Akure, Ondo State. The study adopted a quantitative descriptive research design. A sample size of 191 respondents was determined using Cochran formula. Multistage sampling procedure was used to select 191 respondents from the population.

Solid-state reaction, co-precipitation, and sol-gel procedures were used to synthesize the Sr3Y1.95Ge3O12:0.05Eu3+ (SYGO: Eu3+) garnet structure. The morphological structure and photoluminescence properties of the samples were studied. Phosphors have morphologies and particle sizes that vary depending on the preparation.

ZnO powder was synthesized via a hydrothermally assisted sol-gel method. Synthesis variables including Znprecursor type, pH value, time, and temperature of hydrothermal treatment were analyzed using the Taguchi approach. The experimental procedures were defined based on the L9 array for four variables in three levels. The influences of those variables on the response parameters, i.e. crystallite size, crystallinity, band gap energy (Eg), and degradation constants (k), were evaluated. XRD results and Eg values showed that ZnO wurtzite appeared to be the only crystalline phase in the samples.

In this situation television could be hopefully expected to cater to the needs of farm televiewers to a great extent. The present study was conducted in Davangere district of Karnataka state during 2017-18. For the study, 40 farmers each from public, co-operative and private market intervention were selected following simple random sampling procedure. Thus, the total sample size constituted to 120. The data was collected using pre-tested questionnaires. The knowledge level of farmers was measured considering criteria like General information, post-harvest activities and Market related information by framing different statements.

This study examines the influence of board nationality on the return on equity of money deposits banks in Nigeria. This study makes use of econometric procedure and data was collected through a secondary source of information. The population of interest for the study comprised the twenty-two deposit money banks listed on the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) and the sample size consists of nine selected money deposit banks which were purposively chosen based on the consistency in their publication of their financial account up to 2016; and as well based on their equity.

Considerable number of poultry farms has grown up in Bhilwara district of Rajasthan. Hence, the knowledge of poultry practices occupies the importance. The present study was undertaken in Belagavi district of Karnataka to analyse the resource use efficiency of Soybean crop. The multi-stage random sampling procedure was adopted to choose the sample farmers. The total sample size selected for the present study was 60. A Cobb-Douglas production analysis technique was used to analyze the data. The results of the study revealed that seed, FYM, human labour, bullock labour, and fertilizer were over utilised and machine labour and plant protection chemicals were under utilised by the farmers.

A research was conducted during the year 2018-19 in technological gap in orange production technology. West Siang district was purposively selected as it is one of the major orange producing districts of Arunachal Pradesh and is second largest in acreage of land under orange cultivation after Changlang as per Arunachal Pradesh Agriculture Census 2010-2011.

The present study was carried out for investigation of polymorphism of FecB and POU1F1 gene in Assam Hill goat. Blood samples pertaining to 80 randomly selected Assam Hill goats having kidding history of single as well as multiple births maintained at three field units viz., Batabari, Nahira and Tetelia under “AICRP on Goat Improvement” were utilized. DNA was extracted using modified phenol chloroform extraction procedure. The quantity and quality of extracted DNA were assessed using spectrophotometry and agarose gel electrophoresis.

In this paper we present the construction of a highly sensitive FCS instrument and the measurement results from a sample of semiconductor quantum dots. We provide the analysis procedure for determining the hydrodynamic radius of the quantum dots and compare the results with the ones obtained directly from electron microscope imaging. The good agreement indicates the reliability of the FCS technique and open the way for further applications of this technique in studying nanoparticles.

Therefore, we match SRI funds with conventional funds that are initially similar and estimate the differences over time in performance and fees between the initially similar funds. We report results for simple and biased-adjusted estimators obtained using one and four matches per SRI fund. The one-match procedure is the one that most closely approximates the matched-pair methodology used in previous studies and it maximizes the quality of the matches, although at the cost of a small sample size.
