The psychological constructs of personal values, motivation, selection criteria, demographic and socioeconomic factors introduced as underlying drivers provide invaluable insight into the pathways of influence and relationships between student types and their preference towards a particular degree program at a particular university.

The study has examined the socio-economic profile and socio-economic impact of cooperative society on its members and non-members in South Gujarat. For, study primary data were collected on various parameters by using personal interview/enquiry method for the period of 2019-2020 from the selected 28 cooperative societies and 560 respondents (280 cooperative society members and 280 non-members) spread over seven districts of south Gujarat by survey method using interview schedule. It was found that the education level was higher in cooperative society members as compared to the non-members.

Hence the present study was conducted in the Nanded district of Marathwada region. There are sixteen Talukas in Nanded district. Out of which, four talukas were chosen purposively. Nanded district consists of 20 dairy cooperative societies out of which 4 dairy co-operative societies were selected purposively. From each dairy co-operative society three villages were selected and each village ten members were selected.

The study was carried out to examine the socio-economic characteristics of the respondents and factors influencing entrepreneurial behaviour. Ex-post facto research design was followed. The study was conducted purposively in East Khasi Hills and Ri-bhoi districts. Two C&RD blocks from each district were selected purposively. Further, eight villages were selected purposively where twenty respondents were randomly selected from each., village.

Socio-economic condition of the fishers in Maharashtra is very low. The present study study was carried out to assess socio-economic status of fishers of Ratnagiri, Maharashtra. Information was collected through the well-structured interview schedule. A total of 64 fishermen were selected randomly for interview. The study revealed that 82.8 % fishermen were male and all are involved in fish and fishing related activity.

The study was conducted in district Saharanpur during 2014 to investigate the socioeconomic profiles of rural rice farmers. To this end, primary data was collected through structured questionnaire using a sample of size eighty allocating to four block selected purposively, each comprising two villages selected on the basis of proportional sampling technique. Rice farmers were found associated with agriculture sector. Major occupations were teaching and daily wage earners.

The study was conducted in Erode and Tiruchirappali districts of Tamil Nadu, find out the climate change impact on socioeconomic status of the Paddy farmers. Totally 200 Paddy farmers were selected for the study. Study revealed that majority of farmers belonged to medium socio-economic status in both Kalingarayan and Ponnaniyaru basin.

The present study was conducted to assess the impact of agritourism as perceived by its stakeholders. The sample comprised of forty-five Agritourism Centres (ATCs) drawn from two states i.e. Maharashtra (n=30) and Goa (n=15). The total number of visitors selected for the study was 200, thus consisting of 100 visitors each from respective states. It followed an ex-post facto research design and was purposively conducted in Maharashtra and Goa. The impact was measured in terms of change in employment days and perceived overall socio-economic changes.

In this study we attempted to measure physical fitness in terms of women's aerobic capacity (VO2 max). The present study was conducted to investigate the profile characteristics of Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana (PMKSY) beneficiaries of district Jabalpur (M.P.). One hundred and twenty beneficiaries from Majholi and Jabalpur blocks were selected on the basis of availability of highest beneficiaries of the PMKSY scheme. The study revealed that higher percentage of PMKSY beneficiaries were middle aged, educated up to high school, had medium size of land holding. Brucellosis is an infectious disease, has a considerable impact on animal health as well as socioeconomic impacts. It causes significant reproductive losses in sexually mature animals. The present study reports the isolation, identification and molecular detection of Brucella abortus. A total of 192 buffalo clinical samples were processed by cultural isolation on BBL Brucella agar plate with selective antibiotic supplements and direct PCR.

The study was conducted in rural and urban area of Hisar district. Four Government Senior Secondary Schools, two from rural area and two from Hisar city were selected at random. Total sample constituted of 240 adolescents in the age group of 16-18 years, 120 from rural area and 120 from urban area, representing both the sexes in equal number. The survey was undertaken to study the socio-economic conditions of the fringe villagers of KNP region in Assam. A total of 100 respondents were selected from different fringe villages of KNP areas on random basis. From the survey it was found that, about 58 per cent of the fringe respondents were of middle age group (31-47 years) and belonged to schedule tribe (32 per cent) caste. Majority (67 per cent) of the respondents was with nuclear family type and had a medium family size (5 numbers).

About 30% (11.7 mha) of the area under rice production during kharif season in India remain fallow in the subsequent rabi due to number of biotic, abiotic and socioeconomic constrains. . In Bhagalpur district of Bihar approximately 39.89 per cent of the area remains fallow after kharif rice cultivation. The present study was conducted in Bhagalpur district of Bihar with the objective to study the socio-economic conditions of farmers in rice fallow area. Simple random sampling method was used to select village, block and respondents.

The present paper explores the impact of Krishibhagya Yojana on socioeconomic status of farmers. For the study, multi stage random sampling technique was employed to select the farmers from Bidar, Yadgir and Kalaburagi district of North Eastern Karnataka. Both primary and secondary data were collected for the study. The study reveals that a positive impact after implementation of KBY as compared with the before implementation of KBY.
