In this study, stem nodes with dorminant shoots were cultured on different media after selecting an optimized medium from experiments supplemented with BA in combination with IBA with different concentrations.

The study including two experiments was arranged in a completely randomized design with two factors. For callus induction, the culture medium supplemented with concentrations of TDZ combined with concentrations of NAA was used, while to induce shoots, concentrations of BA combined with concentrations of NAA were added to the medium.

MCKENNA Received 1 November 2004 We prove the existence and multiplicity of solutions to a two-point boundary value problem associated to a weakly coupled system of asymmetric second-order equations. Applying a classical change of variables, we transform the initial problem into an equivalent problem whose solutions can be characterized by their nodal properties.
