Silicon atoms

Azasilanes have excellent bioactivities; however, asymmetric synthesis of azasilinan-6-one with a substitution at the second potion has been investigated very little. In this paper, (R)-2-[3-(methoxymethoxy)propyl] -3,3-diphenyl-1-tosyl-1,3-azasilinan-6-one was successfully synthesized.

The additional network-modifying cation oxide breaking up this network by the generation of nonbridging O atoms and it has a slight effect on the topology of SiOx and OSiy units. Moreover, the diffusion of network- former atom in sodium-silicate melt is anomaly and diffusion coefficient for sodium atom is much larger than for oxygen or silicon atom. The simulation proves two diffusion mechanisms of the network-former atoms and modifier atoms.

In this study, we report the vibrational infrared spectra of most stable SinMn2+ clusters (n=5–9) using density functional theory calculations. An attempt has been made to theoretically construct infrared spectra of the investigated clusters in case of more than one stable isomers coexisting. The finding results would serve as fringerprints for further structural identification of interested clusters.
