The article discusses a number of key theoretical principles of classical Marxism, such as supply chain management, whichare important for understanding the essence of this teaching. Some essential methodological guidelines of the materialist theory of Marxism are analyzed. The most important components of anthropology are considered. An attempt is made to criticize the materialist understanding of historical development. In this paper, we explored the research question: Does Twitter in a large-lecture format university course produced a difference in levels of selfreported student engagement? To do so, we utilize a quasi-experimental design testing the effect of Twitter on student engagement in introductory sociology and anthropology courses. Our hypotheses predicted that students using Twitter would report higher levels of five forms of student engagement (academic, intellectual, peer, and beyond-class engagement, along with an overall engagement variable).

The study was carried out with 1168 individuals from the sites of Puna de Jujuy, San Pedro de Atacama, Calama, Pisagua and 29 craniometric variables. Discriminant Analysis methods were used for the evaluation of differences between sites and sexes and the reclassification of individuals in another site than the original one.
