  • The content of unsaturated fatty acids did differ between males and females of the two species studied. However, these differences are few and can be explained by the timing of their breeding seasons. The fatty acid composition of the fats from both investigated octopus species permits their use as food with nutritional value, and the production of bioactive additives.

  • The studies involving water bugs (Hemiptera) biodiversity and ecology are very few and have mainly focused on taxonomy. We conducted research and evaluation of diversity indexes of water bugs (Hemiptera) in different landscapes including forest habitats, agricultural lands, ponds, streams from 16 sampling sites in Bac Kan, Lao Cai, Ninh Binh and Ha Tinh provinces. As a result, a total of 43 species of 23 genera of 10 families were recorded.

  • The present paper is focused on the impact of the dissolution mechanism of the different species (formed within a single bubble) on bubble chemistry. This process is analyzed on a range of ultrasound frequencies from 140 to 515 kHz, at an acoustic intensity of 1 W/cm². The obtained findings are compared to the results available in the literature.

  • In this study, three seagrass species collected in both rainy and dry seasons from the fields were analyzed to determine the total SP contents and different functional groups of SP. Quantification of total SP was done by photometric assays. High-performance anion-exchange chromatography with Pulsed Electrochemical Detection (HPAEC) determined different functional groups of SPs.

  • Quang Truc forest (QTF) is a remote area in the South-West of Dak Nong province, Vietnam, which is well known for valuable timber species representative for central highland of Vietnam with different globally and nationally threatened species. However, the general understanding of plant diversity of QTF has been still poorly known. The objectives of this paper are to figure out the plant diversity of QTF and compare that with other protected forest areas in Dak Nong province, in order to provide scientific evidences for conservation and sustainable development.
