In this study, several factors affecting Tetragenococcus halophilus CH6-2 cell survival rate in spray drying process including growth conditions, protective agents, and stress adaption were investigated. T. halophilus CH6-2, which was grown in different media, was mixed with different protective agents or at different ratios of cell concentration to protective agents or was subjected to stress adaption before spray drying.

This study investigated the effect of foliar application of putrescine on growth, biochemical, essential oil percent and morpho-anatomical characteristics of Thymus vulgaris L. under water deficit conditions. In pot experiments, plants were grown under two different irrigation levels 70–80% and 30–40% of water holding capacity and foliar sprayed with putrescine at 0, 0.1 and 0.2 mM twice at 10 and 50 days after transplanting.

BBR proliposomes were evaluated for appearance, spray-drying efficiency, morphology and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). The experiment consisted of three levels of nitrogen (90,120 and 150 kg ha1 ) with basal application of P2O5 and K2O each at 60 kg ha-1 and zinc at 15kg ha-1 (basal application) or 0.5% ZnSO4 (foliar spray) and inoculated with Azotobacter or Azospirillum. Highest number of cobs plant-1 , plant height, dry weight, grains cob-1 and grain yield was recorded in the plots treated with 150 kg ha-1 N + 15 kg ZnSO4 basal along with seed inoculation with Azospirillum 20 g per kg seeds.
