Structural frame work

The purpose of this work presents the behavior of semi-rigid connections in composite structures. A Genetic Algorithm based optimum design method is presented for composite frames with semi-rigid connections. The design algorithm obtains a frame with the least weight (beam, column and number of shear connectors per beam) by selecting appropriate sections from a standard set of AISC.

The system combines local environmental information gathered using a laser range finder sensor with the user’sintentions to select the most suitable autonomous task. In current work, an effective method is introduced for the optimal cross-section distribution in steel moment resisting frames under severe earthquakes by means of uniform deformation theory and adaptive method. The main goal is to distribute the construction material (weight) along the height of the structure in such a way that the lowest damage due to earthquakes is obtained. In adaptive method, materials gradually transfer from strong parts to weak parts by an iteration procedure during nonlinear time history analysis.

In this paper, the identifying undamaged-beam status based on singular spectrum analysis (SSA) and wavelet neural networks (WNN) is presented. First, a database is built from measured sets and SSA which works as a frequency-based filter. A WNN model is then designed which consists of the wavelet frame building, wavelet structure designing and establishing a solution for training the WNN.

This paper presents extensions to the work of Bobrow and Webber [Bobrow&Webber 80a, Bobrow&Webber 80b] on semantic interpretation using KL-ONE to represent knowledge.
