In this paper, we evaluate the performance of the SHM damage identification tool using a novel metaheuristic algorithm called the Artificial Hummingbird Algorithm (AHA). The proposed approach is evaluated by two case studies of different bridge structures in Vietnam with different simulated damage scenarios.

The genetic risk for pancreatic cancer is often shared with breast cancer susceptibility genes, most notably BRCA2, PALB2, ATM and BRCA1. Therefore, we hypothesized that additional shared genetic etiologies might be uncovered by studying families presenting with both breast and pancreatic cancer.

Pancreatic adenocarcinoma (PDAC) ranks as the fourth leading cause for cancer-related deaths worldwide. N6-methyladenosine (m6A) and long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) are closely related with poor prognosis and immunotherapeutic effect in PDAC. The aim of this study is to construct and validate a m6A-related lncRNAs signature and assess immunotherapeutic drug sensitivity in PDAC.

This article contends that the technologically innovative nature of fintech facilitates money laundering, and that in order to combat fintech-related money laundering, the regulatory framework for anti-money laundering should take fintech’s innovative dimension into account. This study employs the innovation trilemma theory of Chris Brummer and Yesha Yadav to evaluate and demonstrate that the current Vietnam Law on Anti-Money Laundering has neglected this dimension and, as a result, creates potential risks for potential crimes.

In this study, numerous Grateloupia spp. collected from coastal Vietnam and voucher specimens were used for morphological observation and phylogenetic analyses. Both analyses for samples collected at Nha Trang reveal a new record of G. yangjiangensis. The phylogenetic trees indicated that the herbarium vouchers labeled ‘G filicina’ and ‘G. livida’ from other locations of Vietnam group to G. yinggehaiensis clade. In addition, the phylogenetic trees also showed that the unknown Grateloupia sp. recently collected from Cat Ba Island is Phyllymenia taiwanensis. Therefore, a new record, G.

The identification of most species relied on careful examination of their morphological characters. These findings collectively raised the Ophichthus genus’s representation in Vietnamese waters by introducing three previously undocumented species, raising the total count to 17 compared to prior research. Furthermore, this study provides a comprehensive key to aid in identifying the various Ophichthus species found in Vietnam.
