Graduation thesis "A study on the impacts of the part-time jobs on English-majored student’s language learning at Hai Phong Management and Technology" aims at the following goals: find out benefits and drawbacks of students working part-time during college. Exploring the reality of the effects of part-time jobs on the English learning process of HPU English majored students. Suggest some recommendations for English majored students to help them decide to work part-time.

This study explores if English videos on Facebook can improve speaking skills for freshmen struggling with English. We will divide freshmen into groups: one exposed to curated English videos on Facebook and another with no intervention. Both groups will take speaking tests before and after. By analyzing these tests, we aim to see if the Facebook group improves their fluency, vocabulary, and pronunciation, promoting better English proficiency.

This examination explores the effect of foreign direct investment on the supply chain management and balance of payment in Iraq market. The study is conducted in Iraqi circumstances focusing on the time period of 2005-2017 by considering the supply chain management. Johansen-Juselius co integration technique has been employed to measure the association among variables of interest which is FDI, CAB and GDP. In this context of particular importance are management concepts such as supply chain and chain quality management concepts.

The political brand in this study can determine what factors are in the minds of voters or the mindset of the people that influence their behavior to produce brand equity that can be communicated and presented to the constituents so that the impact drives them towards electoral choices in certain parties.

Global competition has intensified geographic repositioning of supply chain activities with implications for the economic prosperity of specific regions and geographies affected by such shifts. This study examines the relationship between the level of corruption and economic growth using the supply chain and ARDL bounds test method. The data used are GDP, the level of corruption, foreign direct investment, government spending and inflation from 2000-2018. The results of the study indicate a negative and significant impact on the level of corruption on economic growth in the long run.

Master's thesis "Factors impacting on abnormal investment of listed firms in Ho Chi Minh stock exchange" to study factors impacting on abnormal investment in Vietnam, namely that factors are free cash flow and dividends. This study focuses on experimental testing and subsequent numerical analysis of impacted and pre-loaded composite coupons and bonded composite scarf joints under varying impact conditions. A methodology will be developed for the numerical modelling of preloaded impact tests to enable capture of critical failure modes and ultimate failure. This study aims to use CFD analysis of CT scan data from the nasal cavities of a range of older Asian males to investigate the impact of geometric variations between older nasal cavities on the airflow structures and airconditioning capacity of the nasal cavity. Air flow mechanisms, heat transfer rates and humidification efficacy are analysed in order to arrive at a more precise understanding of the role of nasal geometry in the presentation of respiratory ailments.

This research concludes with a discussion on the potential effects on river water quality due to dry weather spills, the impact of rainfall intensity and their potential to mobilize the microbial contamination and move towards a stormwater drain and be transported to a nearby water course. Overall, the objectives of this study were achieved and the transport of microbes can be estimated at different elapsed times depending on the relative humidity after a dry weather spill event, providing its impact on waterways.

This thesis adopts an explanatory sequential mixed-approach, incorporating two inter-related studies investigates the resilience capabilities of Hong Kong-based SMEs. Specifically, the overall objective is to empirically examine the multidimensionality of resilience capability, and how each dimension is developed, utilized, and evolved over time and in various contexts. Study 1 involves a survey of 177 Hong Kong-based SMEs and explores the interrelationship between resilience capabilities and firm performance, and the moderating impact of environmental turbulence on these relationships.
