Between 2018 and 2020, 989 clinical specimens from pigs showing clinical signs of a variety of swine diseases in 27 provinces in China were sampled and submitted for further testing. Nested PCR targeting the 16S rRNA gene of Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae and subsequent sequencing were used to analyse these specimens. Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae-positive samples were assayed by multilocus sequence typing (MLST).

Little is known about the role of glial host cells in brain tumours. However, supporting stromal cells have been shown to foster tumour growth in other cancers. This cell population was subsequently characterised using gene expression analyses and immunocytochemistry. Furthermore, sphere formation was assessed in vitro and their glioma growth-promoting ability was examined in vivo. Finally, the expression of TAG related markers was validated in human GBMs.

A field experiment was carried out at ‘A-B’ Block farm of BCKV, West Bengal, during subsequent winter seasons of 2017-18 and 2018-19 with grass pea variety Ratan (Bio L-212). Ten treatment combinations were laid out in a factorial RBD consisting seed priming with Ammonium molybdate @ 0.5 g kg-1 seed and foliar feeding at pre-flowering or a second spray at 15 days interval using 2% Urea or 0.5% NPK (19:19:19) to analyse their effect on quality and nutrient uptake of relay grass pea.

Basic analyses were conducted upon an existing headlamp, and the validity of the analytical model was verified by testing existing reflector temperatures under conditions similar to those modeled during the analyses. Based on this verification, three types of radiating fins were modeled and analyzed. The vertical fin type exhibited the highest heat dissipation performance. Subsequently, design variables were selected for the vertical fin type and size optimization was performed using the design of the experiment model. A study was conducted for assessing the preference of some suggested measures for changing weather patterns in Cuttack district of Odisha and finding the major areas of impact of and extent of severity amongst five different resources by the scientists of National Rice Research Institute, Cuttack. An appropriate group having adequate understanding on changes in weather conditions was selected and their profile was analysed. Ranking amongst major areas of impact amongst Air and atmosphere, Farming, Sea, Forest and Fresh water Resources was identified by the group.

Induced Pluripotent stem cells (iPSC) technology is involved in advancing the field of disease modelling and cell transplantation. Stem cell can differentiate under appropriate in vitro and in vivo conditions into different cell types. Under this study, we analysed the establishment of in vitro expression of GATA4 gene in cardiac differentiated canine iPSC. In vitro differentiation of canine iPSCs via embryoid bodies (EBs) was produced by ‘Hanging Drop’ method. EB’s were differentiated by using cardiac differentiation media.

The present investigation was carried out for evaluation of the status of DTPA-Fe, Cu, Mn and Zn in relation with chemical properties in soils of Solapur district for this purpose representative soil samples were collected from different villages of Solapur district. The micronutrient and some important soil physico-chemical properties were investigated by using GPS and GIS techniques. Considering the critical limits of soil micronutrients, all soil associations were not adequately supplied with DTPA extractable micronutrients.

There is an increasing prevalence of obesity and metabolic syndrome, which promote the development of non–alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), a disease that can evolve into cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma. Repin1 loss was previously shown to have beneficial effects on lipid and glucose metabolism and obesity regulation. Herein, we characterized NAFLD in mice with hepatic deletion of Repin1 (LRep1/). For this purpose, liver disease was analysed in male LRep1/ and wild-type mice treated with streptozotocin/high fat diet or a control diet over a period of 20 wks.

The current work therefore develops an extreme nonlinear numerical model that can express the seismic response of the LRB for beyond design basis earthquakes. A full-scale LRB was fabricated and dynamically tested with various input conditions, and test results confirmed that the developed numerical model better represents the behavior of the LRB over previous models. Subsequent seismic response analyses of isolated nuclear power plants using the model developed here are expected to provide more accurate results for seismic probabilistic safety assessments.

Three physical measures of the 160 films are used in the analyses below, and one interaction between them. First, the average shot lengths (ASLs) of each filmwere determined. Segmenting films into shots has been a tedious and ongoing process, starting with the measurements by Cutting et al (2010). The Hitachi SV1100 utilizes capillary electrophoresis on a microchip that is capable of rapidly sizing DNAfrag-ments.
