This issue if not resolved can lead to the failure of the MNEs’ investment and may affect FDI flows into Indonesia. The main objective of this paper is to examine the case law litigation and related information elicited from qualitative sources and interviews with relevant persons involving land issues in carrying out palm oil plantation ventures in Indonesia by Sime Darby Plantation Berhad (‘SDPB’) (being a subsidiary of Sime Darby Berhad). Qualitative social and legal research methodologies were used in this writing.

The paper describes specific aspects of land use planning and forecasting for effective supply chain management. Close attention is paid to the territorial planning projects having been implemented in the United States, England, Germany, the former Soviet Union and Russia. Land is characterized as an object for planning and forecasting as well as the basis for food security. The aim of study "Ba Lat delta evolution in response to changing fluvial sediment supply by the Red river, Vietnam" is to (i) estimate the amount of sediment discharge via the Ba Lat mouth, (ii) quantify changes in the active Ba Lat delta, including the delta-front shoreline, deltaic land area and (iii) explore the statistical relationship between these changes and the river sediment loads before and after all the large damreservoir operations upstream of the Red River system.

The greatest impact on the cadastral value of land plots is the distance to the capital of the Russian Federation and the land area. The influence of the coefficient of the length of the land plot on its cadastral value in all built specifications was not confirmed. The quality of the results was tested using Fisher test, student test, regression equation specification error test (RESET), testing of regression residues on heteroskedasticity and autocorrelation (White test, Breusch-Pagan test).
