Supportive teaching culture

In the framework of this paper, we will address the issue of intercultural contact. After stating the definition of some fundamental concepts related to intercultural, cultural conflict, cultural identity, we will address intercultural teaching and propose application exercises on the exploitation of " À l’étranger" by writer Nicole Malinconi .

This paper investigates the existence of a campus supportive teaching culture in a Vietnamese public university that can facilitate good teaching, basing on three research questions aiming to find out: (1) the availability of supportive teaching activities at campus and (2) the effectiveness of such practices from lecturers’ perspectives and (3) the demand for similar or more activities for teaching excellence.

The programme provides active support to French departments, language centres and French-language degree programmes, instructor-researchers and student researchers, to develop teaching and research about French and in French, about its partner languages and, lastly, about intercultural communication in development. Its action is based on the work of seven networks of researchers, a didactics collective and vehicles for information and think-tank sharing.
