Technological change intention

Reading habits and reading material access have changed dramatically in a digital world. The intention to use e-book has been widely explored. This study proposes a casual model that explores how perceived barriers and reading habit influence users’ intention to use e-books.

This paper aims to investigate the the factors and determinants of intention to change technology for banking operation in Vietnam in the era of industry 4.0, proposing six factors including (1) perceived usefulness; (2) perceived ease of use; (3) trust; (4) social influence; (5) innovativeness; and (6) efficiency; of which efficiency was a new factor in this research.

Lifelong learning is an option to fulfil societal needs in order to create a dynamic society. The rising in participation in lifelong learning programmes contributed due to the pressure of globalization and technologies in Malaysia’s changing demography. Therefore, this study aimed at identifying the factors that influence the intention of the Malaysian working adults towards lifelong learning and to develop marketing strategies for Malaysian education providers. The foundation of this study is based on the Theory of Planned Behaviour.

The first half of the Review considers how the evidence on the economic impacts of climate change, and on the costs and benefits of action to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, relates to the conceptual framework described above. The scientific evidence points to increasing risks of serious, irreversible impacts from climate change associated with business-as-usual (BAU) paths for emissions. The scientific evidence on the causes and future paths of climate change is strengthening all the time.

The growing evidence that human activities can affect the weather on scales ranging from local to global has added a new and important dimension to the place of weather modification in the field of atmospheric sciences. There is a need, more urgent than ever, to understand the fundamental processes related to intentional and unintentional changes in the atmosphere. The question of how well current technology, practice, and theory are equipped to meet these broader goals of weather modification is central to this report.
