The rest of this paper is organized as follows: In Section 2, previous studies related to risk measure are mentioned in the literature. Section 3 presents research methodology including AS index and EPM methodology which are applied for evaluating all ETF funds performance. Then, the result and discussion between them are compared in section 4. The final section will conclude.

This study is to determine impacts of the dynamics of digital transformation as a strategic choice of banks on their performance under constant changes of technology, notably financial technologies and relatively stable market conditions such as macroeconomic policies, legal framework and industry structure. A sample of 23 Listed Commercial Banks in Vietnam was used that is based on the availability of ICT readiness index as a measure for the banks’ initial stages to prepare for digital transformation journey.

This study measured innovation by four types of innovation namely product innovation, process innovation, administrative innovation, and marketing innovation. SMEs performance was measured from the perspective of financial and nonfinancial. The survey was conducted among top-level management of 440 Manufacturing SME in Malaysia. A hybrid method of AHP and Malmquist DEA was applied to handle the problem of efficiency measurement. This article analyzes the impact of CEO’s education on firm financial performance by using data of 462 firms listed on both Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi Stock Exchange from 2011-2017. In general, a CEO with Master’s Degree has a positive impact of on firm financial performance, thus suggesting that educational level of CEO’s has impact on the firm’s success. Surprisingly, the Doctor's Degree of CEO negatively influences the firm performance measured by the market value (Tobin’s Q) and firm’s profitability (ROA) is positively affected if CEO has a Engineering Degree.

This thesis represents the first comprehensive study on the performance (raw and risk-adjusted), performance persistence, and market timing ability of the equity funds in Hong Kong Mandatory Provident Funds (MPF) scheme during the period 2001 – 2004. Regardless of the measure used (Jensen single-index alpha measure, Fama-French three-factor alpha measure, and modified Jensen alpha controlled by changes in exchange rates), US equity funds and Pacific-Basin excluding Japan equity funds, are found to consistently underperform relative to the market.

This study examines the relationship between bank efficiency and earnings management (EM) using a large sample of banks from 22 frontier market countries from 2011 - 2018, We hypothesise that EM via loan loss provision (LLP) and loan loss reserves (LLR) adversely impacts bank efficiency. Employing stochastic frontier analysis as a technical efficiency measurement, and random effects and truncated regression to reveal their relationship, we find support for this prediction. Also, in three of the five geographic regions tested, efficiency scores are higher for larger banks.
