  • This paper examines the factors affecting the business performances of tourism firms listed in Vietnamese stock exchanges by using a crosssectional panel data during 8-year period from 2015 to 2022. The authors adopt different models including OLS, REM, FEM, FGLS to test the effects of 10 factors on the tourism firms’ business performances which are measured by three financial indicators ROA, ROE and ROS.

  • The research findings revealed that tourism agencies in Malacca were still in the early stages of E-business usage, with only (54%) of the travel agencies are online. The factor of saving time (M = 4.3492) was the key benefit in Ebusiness usage while the factor of hackers’ intervention (M = 3.8730) was revealed to be the most deterring factor that causes the tourism agencies reluctance to adopt E-business practice. This study shows that government aims of Ebusiness tourism have not been fully realized the benefit.

  • n recent years, Indonesia’s inbound tourism grew slowly. This study examined the effects of quality of environment on inbound tourism in 32 provinces over the period 2009-2018. We utilized several indices of environmental quality such as water quality index (WQI), air quality index (AQI), and environmental quality index (EQI). Meanwhile, our dependent variable, inbound tourism, is measured in terms of incidence and duration of stay. Previous studies acknowledged that there was a potential endogeneity between quality of environment and tourism.

  • The present study was conducted to assess the impact of agritourism as perceived by its stakeholders. The sample comprised of forty-five Agritourism Centres (ATCs) drawn from two states i.e. Maharashtra (n=30) and Goa (n=15). The total number of visitors selected for the study was 200, thus consisting of 100 visitors each from respective states. It followed an ex-post facto research design and was purposively conducted in Maharashtra and Goa. The impact was measured in terms of change in employment days and perceived overall socio-economic changes.

  • The purpose of this paper is to survey the attitudes of the residents towards Vung Tau tourism development. In this study, we will measure attitudes of the residents through four basic factors: social interaction with tourists, culture of profiteering, negative barriers, and perception of crowding. The results showed that there are not correct and good attitudes towards these factors.

  • The study aims to develop a model for measuring and verifying the relationship between dimensions of brand equity and brand equity as a whole. The study uses quantitative methods to formally evaluate the scale and the impact of the factors on the customer-oriented brand equity of travel agencies in Hanoi. The samples were randomly selected from 215 questionnaires which were distributed and collected. The finding is that dimensions of brand value include brand awareness, brand association, perceived quality, brand loyalty, which have a strong impact on the brand equity of tour operator.
