The appraisal of thermo-adaptability among two calf breeds in the controlled environment was the objective of this study. The first group was Tharparkar and second one was crossbred (Hariana; 25 and 50% and Exotic; 50 and 75%) calves. The investigative period consists of 7 days acclimatization period, and 21 days of thermal exposure at control (25°C), moderate (31°C) and severe (37°C) heat stress (6 hrs. per day).

This paper evaluates application feasibility of a Hybrid Multi-terminal HVDC system and wind-thermal-bundled plants simulated in DIgSLIENT PowerFactory environment. The proposed hybrid MTDC system consists of two line-communicated converters (LCC), which are connected to both wind farms and thermal power plants, and one voltage source converter (VSC) at the grid side.

Collagen from fish is attracting a lot of attention thanks to its high absorbance ability, biocompatibility as well as non-religious obstruction and cheap sources. It could be applied in many fields, for example: food, cosmetic, or biomedicine. Using of collagen also helps reduce the environment pollution from fish scale waste in fish processing. In this study, collagen extracted from Vietnamese fresh-water tilapia fish scales was used in combination with carrageenan for the improvement of drug release control.

The application of emulsion for combined heat extraction and lubrication requires continuous monitoring of the quality of emulsion to sustain a desired grinding environment; this is applicable to other grinding fluids as well. Thus to sustain a controlled grinding environment, it is necessary to adopt an effectively lubricated wheel-work interface.

In this paper, output tracking properties of an optimal receding horizon control algorithm for a thick slab heating furnace are verified in a closely real environment. This control algorithm was already developed by the authors earlier. The verification is carried out using Simscape libraries to model and simulate the thermal transmission inside a thick slab in a heating furnace.
