Ebook "Numerical regularization for atmospheric inverse problems" is to present and analyze numerical algorithms for atmospheric retrieval. The book is aimed at physicists and engineers with some background in numerical linear algebra and matrix computations. Although there are many practical details in this book, for a robust and efficient implementation of all numerical algorithms, the reader should consult the literature cited.

The convergence rates for the regularized solutions is also shown under ordinary conditions in the theory of nonlinear ill-posed problems. We also give a numerical example as an illustration.

In this paper, the author study linear inverse problems on a closed convex set and the constrained sparsity regularization for considering problems. Here, combining the sparsity regularization and constrained Tikhonov regularization, we propose the constrained sparsity regularization.

The purpose of this paper is to give a theoretical analysis of Tikhonov for solving a system of illposed equations involving linear and bounded mappings in real Hilbert spaces under perturbative operators and right hand side. Then, an example of finding a common solution of N systems of linear algebraic equations with singular matrixes is given.
