This research examines the impact of tourism and local residents support for development of tourism destination in the Cu Chi, Hochiminh City. The study conducts a survey by using a formal questionnaire with participation of 291 residents who are living in Cu Chi, five research hypotheses were proposed. The findings show that the economic impacts of tourism were most favorably behavioral control and socio-cultural factor.

Regional linkage in tourism development are an important requirement in the development of tourism of each country. This study explores the regional linkage experience in tourism development in Thailand and Malaysia, which has implications for regional linkage development in the Northwest of Vietnam. Research indicates the importance of regional linkage in tourism development and government policy plays an important role in promoting regional linkage. This policy should be concretized as a regional tourism linkage strategy and management units.

The 4th Industrial Revolution has had a great impact on the sectors of economic, social and cultural life, including tourism. The 4th Industrial Revolution will contribute to the diversification of tourism products and increase the attractiveness of tourism. At the same time, it also gives out the requirements to localities in the tourism development strategy to become a key economic sector. In that context, Thai Nguyen province has also taken the initiative in making changes in the field of tourism and training of human resources to meet the demand of Industrial Revolution 4.0.

During the second year, the programme offers a series of integrated modules that examine specific aspects of the tourism industry. First, students will learn about the international tourism environment. They will examine important business models found in the industry in order to understand how tourism and the environment interrelate – primarily as seen from an economic perspective – by working on case studies and going on excursions.
