The study presents the evaluation results of typical PAEs (6 PAE indicators) of the PAE family in water samples from Ho Tay Lake, Hanoi. The quality of lake water in general and in Hanoi in particular is influenced by many factors. In this study, experimental results on mesoporous zeolite preparation from a common solid waste, the rice husk ash by a top-down and bottom-up approach were reported. In top-down method, the consecutive treatments of zeolite by acid and alkaline in the presence of a cationic surfactant (CTAB) successfully generated mesopores in the zeolite.

The results showed that the pseudo-second-kinetic model better described the adsorption kinetics of tartrazine on MoS2 and film diffusion was the rate-limiting step. In addition, the adsorption capacity of MoS2 was also performed with various organic dyes such as nile blue, janus green B, and congo red.

The higher catalytic performance of CuMnOx than MnO2, CuO because of its higher specific surface area and its lower reduction temperature. The results also implied that the interaction between Cu and Mn could improve the reduction capacity of CuMnOx catalyst. In summary, the CuMnOx catalyst is a promising catalyst for toluene treatment.

This study focuses on the synthesis of V-doped TiO2 materials using a modified polyol method to enhance their efficiency. The obtained materials were characterized by various methods such as XRD, EDX, FTIR, SEM, TEMSAED, Raman, and UV-Vis DRS. The results indicated the crystalline anatase phase of TiO2, with spherical morphology and an average size of 30nm. The UV-DRS measurement demonstrated that doped materials have a lower bandgap than the pristine TiO2.

This study was conducted to assess the current wastewater management in the region. Initial survey results revealed that there was only 8 wastewater treatment plants, meeting requirement of 6.9% of treatment demand, and the sewer coverage was 69%.
