Nghiên cứu này trình bày ảnh hưởng của nhiệt độ nung đến khả năng tạo gốm sinh học β-tricalcium phosphate (β-TCP) định hướng ứng dụng làm vật liệu tái tạo xương. Ca(OH)2 và H3 PO4 được cấp phối theo tỷ lệ mol Ca/P=1,5 và hấp thủy nhiệt ở 180o C trong 24 giờ để thu khoáng calcium phosphate hydrate (CPH) có thành phần pha tương tự hydroxyapatite (HA). Khoáng CPH được xử lý nhiệt ở 700 và 1.000o C trong 3 giờ nhằm đánh giá khả năng thu khoáng β-TCP.

Endophytic bacteria isolated from the Oryza sativa plant were evaluated for phosphate solubilisation. Five of these isolates that showed good phosphate solubilising activity were characterised at molecular level and tested for phosphate solubilisation using three different sources viz tricalcium phosphate (TCP), aluminium phosphate (AlPO4) and iron phosphate (FePO4). Based on 16s rRNA gene sequence analysis the isolates were identified as Pantoeaa ananatis, Pseudomonas putida, Brevibacillus agri, Bacillus subtilis and Bacillus megaterium.

Aspergillus niger inoculated into medium containing Tricalcium phosphate (TCP) and Rock phosphate (RP) resulted in acid production which is indicated from the measure of pH and titrable acidity. Maximum of 105 mM acid production is recorded in TCP supplemented culture of 12 days whereas it is 124 mM in nutrient medium aided with RP and 14 days old culture.

Plant growth promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR) enhance the plant growth and productivity through wide variety of mechanism. The strains isolated from rhizosphere of Momordica charantia, mainly belonged to Bacillus, Azotobacter, Pseudomonas and Acinetobacter. Nearly 50% isolates of Pseudomonas and Acinetobacter and all the isolates of Bacillus and Azotobacter were able to solubilise tricalcium phosphate.

Lentil is one of the important legume crop widely grown in India. The availability of low phosphorous in soil is one the major concern for the production of legume crop in the country. Thus, the present study was aimed to evaluate the plant growth promoting efficiency of phosphate solubilizing Chryseobacterium sp. PSR 10 with different doses of inorganic fertilizers (N and P) on lentil growth and yield under field conditions. In the present study endophytic bacteria were isolated from Aegle marmelos and were screened for phosphate solubilizing activity. The present study was conducted on 12 dogs of either, sex, breed, aged between 1-8 years brought to T.V.C.C, Jabalpur having a diaphyseal fracture in any of the long bones i.e. Humerus, femur and tibia. The dogs were randomly divided into three equal groups irrespective of breed and sex. The radiographs in two standard views were taken to diagnose the fracture and to select optimum titanium pins. In all the three groups, the diaphyseal fractures were repaired with internal fixation using titanium elastic pin. In group I, the fracture was repaired by using the titanium pin alone.
