The study investigates the relationship between liquidity and returns on a stock exchange in a frontier market. The paper applies three asset pricing models, including Capital Asset Pricing Model (CAPM), the Fama-French three-factor model, liquidity-augmented three-factor model. To measure the liquidity in the study, five measures: quoted spread, trading volume, trading value, Amihud measure, and turnover ratio were applied.

This study addresses the question of how changing the mowing regime influences the floristic composition and floristic diversity of grasses in an experimental lowland meadow. The study location is Białowieża Forest, NE Poland. To achieve the aim we used phytosociological data from long-term studies in Białowieża Forest on the course of secondary succession. The relationship between the biodiversity of grasses and type of mowing was determined using statistical analysis. Changes in the dominance and frequency of individual grass species have occurred during the last 28 years of observations.

This study investigates an impact of working capital management (WCM) on profitability of industrial companies listed in Hochiminh Stock Exchange (HOSE). The author uses 352 observation samples from 44 industrial enterprises listed on HOSE over the 8-year period from 2010 to 2017. Return on Asset (ROA) and Tobin’s Q (TQ) are respectively selected as the dependent variables for book value and market value of profitability.

This study examines the association between financial restatements and audit fees, and the effect of board of directors turnover on this relationship. Restatements are seen as a financial reporting failure, increasing risk for the auditor resulting in a higher audit fee. Regression analysis using the audit fee change model based on prior literature is applied on an U.S. sample. We found no evidence that there is positive significant relationship found between restatements and audit fees.

This study identifies the determinants of growth of selected companies in India. It is based on a sample of 250 companies given in the PROWESS database developed by Centre for Monitoring Indian Economy (CMIE). It covers a period of ten years, i.e., from 2004-05 to 2013-14. The growth of companies is measured in terms of compounded annual growth rate of net sales and market capitalization.

This study investigates the relationship between stock market development and economic growth in the Kingdom of Bahrain over the twenty-five year period of 1990 to 2014. Using regression analysis, the study analyzes the relationship between economic growth, measured by GDP growth rate, and stock market indicators, such as size, liquidity, All-Share Index, turnover, and market capitalization. The first major finding is that stock markets indicators have influence on economic growth in Bahrain.
