This paper introduces a new modified type of FB. Series of two-dimensional wave flume experiments were carried out to investigate the wave attenuation of the new modified type of FB. Research on the physical model of FBs focuses on the wave transmission, wave reflection and wave energy dissipation under random wave conditions. Comparative tests were also carried out between the new modified type of FB and the traditional box FB.

Extranodal NK/T-cell lymphoma, nasal type, is a rare subtype of non-Hodgkin lymphoma, origin from natural killer (NK) cells and T cells. This is a rare, fast-growing and poor prognosis disease. The research design adopted to address this problem utilised mixed data collection methodologies.
