In recent years, tourist accommodation establishments have been growing in both quantity and quality, making an important contribution to the development of tourism products, socio-economic development in local. Expected to 2020, Vietnam's economy will continue to witness the boom of the accommodation service business with more than 20 million foreign visitors visiting and the outstanding growth of the hotel service industry.

This paper aims to contribute to this literature gap, firstly by demonstrating how city-regions are functional economic areas which can be empirically studied. Secondly, by analyzing the Vietnamese legal framework using the Hanoi Capital Region and the Ho Chi Minh City Region as case studies, this paper presents arguments that City-region development in Vietnam is highly normative and politically guided.

Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) is known as the economic leader of Vietnam. This city also makes a major contribution to Vietnam’s state budget revenue. The reality of the socio-economic development of HCMC reveals that the Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) sector has made important and effective contributions in terms of exports, state budget revenue, job creation and income.

The findings have indicated that script, music, cultural images have a correlation with Vietnamese viewers’ satisfaction with Korean dramas while actors do not affect the overall satisfaction. Based on the findings,the authors provide implications and offer suggestions to Vietnamese filmmakers on improving customer satisfaction, thereby contributing to the development of TV drama production in Vietnam.

Research evaluates the impact of transformational leadership on team member exchange quality and employees’ proactive work behavior. With a sample size of 619 employees working at 50 business brands of electronic (E-COMMERCE) in Vietnam, results of analyzing data with SPSS and AMOS shows the same impact of transformational leadership on team member exchange quality and team member exchange quality on OCBs.
